They will help build your ability to exercise choice and control, to coordinate supports and access your local community.
Specialist support coordinators will support you to manage challenges in your support environment which may include health, education, or justice services. Specialist support coordination aims to reduce barriers to implementing or using your NDIS plan.

This involves working together to understand your plan & funding, identify what you expect from services and connecting you to the best services for your needs. A support coordinator will help develop your capacity to implement and manage your NDIS supports more independently over time.
Support Coordination: Level 3
A Specialist Support Coordinator will work side by side with you to address any barriers impacting your ability to implement your NDIS plan and access appropriate supports. This involves working together to understand your plan & funding, identify what you expect from services and connecting you to the best services for your needs. A Specialist Support Coordinator will negotiate appropriate support solutions and assist you to access to relevant supports during crisis situations.
